Fierce Wireless: Study: Mobile phones account for nearly 5% of all European Internet traffic

Mobile devices in Europe are now generating 4.6 per cent of all Internet traffic in the region, according to research firm comScore. The study, which took place from June to August, found that Apple's iOS platform (including iPhones, iPads and iPod touches) now accounts for more than 30 per cent of all mobile and connected devices in use in the top five European countries, and has overtaken Symbian as having the highest share of the smartphone operating system market.
