Total Telecom: Vodafone opens up with LiMo-based handset for social network aggregator
Operator to drive apps by opening billing, location APIs; receives 30% revenue share on apps sold.
Vodafone on Thursday announced a suite of new Web services based around a social network aggregator that will debut on a LiMo-powered Samsung handset.
Called Vodafone 360, the service collates contact details and profile updates from social networks, email accounts, instant messaging services and other online services and integrates them with a newly-designed address book.
