CloudPro: Mformation brings carrier-grade MDM to enterprise cloud providers
Company touts flexible models for mobile device management as a service.
Mobile device management software company Mformation Technologies has launched a new cloud-based service, Mformation mCloudPlus, which it claims will bring carrier-grade cloud device management to enterprise managed service providers (MSPs).
MCloudPlus allows MSPs to offer their enterprise customers turnkey MDM services via the cloud. The company said the service can scale up to 100 million devices and greater than 10,000 tenants. It can also support over 20,000 concurrent service-desk agents on a single platform.
It touted a low, simple, flat-rate license fee that enables mCloudPlus to be sold on top of current service offerings by cloud providers. It also said that the hosted platform eliminates costly and lengthy systems integration projects.
It said that MSPs would be able to offer enterprises enhanced security via he deployment of and enforce uniform security policies for the mobile applications and devices used within the enterprise, as well as secure the enterprise data that resides on the devices.
