TMCNet: Sequans and Mformation Support WiMAX Device Management
Mformation Technologies has signed an interoperability partnership with Sequans Communications to provide a wide range of support programs to help service providers manage and control devices over a WiMAX network.
Sequans offers wireless equipment manufacturers a chipset solution for virtually every WiMAX application.
Mformation’s OMA DM server provides WiMAX service activation, remote configuration and ongoing life-cycle support for WiMAX-capable devices.
Under the agreement, Sequans has integrated an OMA DM client directly into its chip software and has joined the Mformation WiMAX Self-Certification Program.
