MFORMATION Announces Interoperability Partnership with Seowon Intech in Support of WiMAX Device Management

Relationship ensures Seowon device portfolio is ready for activation and management when launched by service providers

EDISON, New Jersey, USA – December 8, 2009 - Mformation® Technologies Inc., the leading provider of advanced mobile device management (MDM) solutions, today announced an interoperability partnership with Seowon Intech, an industry leader in routers and consumer premise equipment for WiMAX. The interoperability program provides a wide range of support programs to service providers for managing and controlling devices over a WiMAX network.

Seowon offers communication equipment to service providers including USB modems and consumer premise equipment. Mformation’s OMA DM server provides WiMAX service activation, remote configuration and ongoing life-cycle support of WiMAX-capable devices. Seowon has joined Mformation’s WiMAX Self-Certification Program whereby it has passed an extensive range of tests certifying compliance with OMA DM and WiMAX Forum™ specifications to ensure that its devices can be easily activated and managed when deployed by service providers.
