mFormation Successfully Tests OMA CP V1.1 Interoperability at Open Mobile Alliance’s Test Fest

Succeeds in All Mandatory and Optional Tests

Edison, NJ January 11, 2005 - mFormation® Technologies Inc. (http://www.mformation.com),a leading provider of comprehensive wireless device management software, today announced successful participation in the latest round of interoperability testing at the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) Test Fest held October 2004 in Beijing, China. mFormation successfully tested the mFormation SERVICE MANAGER™ server with OMA’s Client Provisioning (CP) version 1.1 enabler test, establishing interoperability between the mFormation server and OMA CP clients from several major vendors.

mFormation SERVICE MANAGER is the most comprehensive suite of wireless device management software products on the market today, providing configuration of wireless device and service settings, remote device diagnostics and repair, OTA software and firmware updates, real-time service quality and performance measurement, and enterprise self-care capabilities.

The suite’s Configuration Manager module has long provided standards-based over-the-air configuration of wireless service settings such as email, WAP, MMS, and HTTP across the many devices that employ protocols based on the OMA CP V1.1 standard. In this latest round of interoperability testing, not only did mFormation successfully test against all mandatory test cases, but all optional test cases as well, ensuring support for the broadest possible range of functionality on devices with OMA CP V1.1 clients. mFormation also supports OMA DM-compliant devices, and has successfully participated in the OMA Test Fest that established interoperability between the mFormation server and OMA DM V1.1.2 clients from several vendors.

OMA’s Test Fests are designed to help OMA member companies develop and deploy fully interoperable products and services that accelerate end-user adoption of mobile devices and services.
