Vodafone Egypt Selects mFormation Software for Over-the-air Configuration of Customer Phones

Edison, NJ June 14, 2005 - mFormation® Technologies Inc. (http://www.mformation.com), a leading provider of wireless device management software, and Vodafone Egypt, a subsidiary of Vodafone Group PLC, today announced that Vodafone Egypt is licensing mFormation’s Configuration Manager software to quickly and easily configure customer phones for wireless services such as Internet access, email, MMS and SMS over the air.

Configuration Manager is a key module of the mFormation SERVICE MANAGER™ Suite of wireless device management software. It provides an OMA standards-based over-the-air configuration solution for a wide range of wireless devices, from low-end mobile phones to 3G smartphone and converged devices, enabling easy configuration and reconfiguration of phone settings over the life of the phone. Vodafone Egypt will use the Configuration Manager to automatically configure customers’ device settings over the air, ensuring that their customers always have access to their data services.
