Security

  • Lock devices and wipe data from them remotely
  • Apply password and encryption policies
  • Intel Anti-Theft Technology (Intel® AT) is an enhanced security solution—it is built into the processor of the notebook. When a laptop is lost or stolen, a “poison pill” can be activated that disables access to the laptop.

Diagnostics

  • Remote inventory of devices, including device capabilities, modem, OS, radio, registry and application information
  • Ability for customer care representatives to get device status, resolve issues or redirect customer support requests
  • Ability for customer care to resolve modem issues by remotely installing drivers and upgrading firmware

Configuration

  • Configure and reconfigure network parameters
