There is a broad array of wireless devices on the market today, ranging from low-end phones with basic functionality to smart phones and converged devices that support a wide range of services such as email, picture and video messaging, Internet access, entertainment and business applications. To realize the potential of new capabilities and services, these devices must be provisioned and configured correctly at all times. Operators must ensure that services such as preferred roaming lists and number assignments are provisioned when users activate their devices, and they must update device settings when services or roaming groups are introduced or changed. If operators cannot manage these tasks effectively over the air (OTA), customers may get frustrated, slowing or halting new services adoption and revenues.

CDMA Configuration Manager enables operators to activate handsets and set important device settings over the air, automatically detect new devices and trigger any necessary updates, and dynamically add support for configuring the settings of new services as they come to market. The product supports the widest possible range of devices, and a dedicated certification team ensures support for the latest devices as they come to market.
