CDMA Configuration Manager

OTA activation and configuration of mobile CDMA devices

CDMA mobile devices, from low-end phones to smart phones and converged devices, support a wide range of services, including email, video messaging, Internet access, and business applications. To realize these services’ potential requires the subscriber to be activated and the CDMA device configuration to be correct at all times — both cumbersome, complicated tasks. Operators must ensure that services such as preferred roaming lists and number assignments are provisioned when users activate their devices, and they must update device settings when services or roaming groups are introduced or changed. If operators cannot manage these tasks effectively over the air (OTA), customers may get frustrated, slowing or halting new services adoption and revenues.

Mformation’s CDMA Configuration Manager enables operators to activate handsets and set key device configuration settings OTA automatically or on demand, so customers can access services on their CDMA devices first time, every time. Because the product can reconfigure devices dynamically throughout their lifecycle, it helps operators realize more revenue from their service offerings.
