Interoperability
Interoperability of third-party device clients and Mformation’s server is key to accelerating adoption of device management technologies. The company thus actively participates in OMA’s interoperability tests to help ensure its products work with the widest possible range of independently developed, standards-based device clients and server components. The company also conducts interoperability testing with device vendors outside the OMA framework through its Mformation Interoperability Testing program. This program ensures its products’ compatibility with the changing requirements of its operator customers.
As a result of its commitment to interoperability, Mformation has the largest database of supported devices in the industry. Currently the company supports more than 1,400 different mobile device types, and it continues to add support for more devices through its ongoing certification efforts.
