Open Mobile Alliance:
Mformation plays a major role in the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA), working to support, extend and improve OMA standards for remote device management that help accelerate the adoption of wireless devices and advanced data services. In addition, the company has made significant contributions to current and upcoming versions of the OMA Data Management (OMA DM) specifications for over the air (OTA) device management. The first MDM vendor to be OMA DM certified, Mformation supports all aspects of the standard, including its optional capabilities.
CDMA Development Group:
Mformation is a member of the CDMA Development Group (CDG), which leads the adoption and evolution of 3G CDMA wireless systems. By working with other members, Mformation helps ensure its solutions are interoperable with their CDMA products and expedites the availability of 3G CDMA technology to consumers.
WiMAX Forum:
Mformation is an active member of the WiMAX Forum, an industry-led, not-for-profit organization formed to certify and promote the compatibility and interoperability of broadband wireless products based upon the harmonized IEEE 802.16/ETSI HiperMAN standard. A WiMAX Forum goal is to accelerate the introduction of these systems into the marketplace. Mformation is an active participant in the Network Working Group subteam and has worked with members of the team to develop a WiMAX Managed Object (MO) that plugs into standards-based OMA DM clients, ensuring the manageability of devices running on WiMAX networks.
