Mformation Software Technologies India Pvt Ltd is looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer for our Product Quality Assurance group in our Bangalore, India office.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute tests for Mformation software products
  • Design, develop and maintain tests using RFT
  • Plan and execute functional, integration, and regression tests using a risk-based test strategy
  • Write and execute manual and automated test scripts
  • Report and monitor defects and their resolution with both white- and black-box testing<
  • Identify and implement Quality Best Practices

General requirements

Required:

  • Experience with J2EE/Oracle/SQL-based scalable, highly available telecom/mobile applications on UNIX platform
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Solaris/HP-UX is a must
  • Experience in Shell and Perl scripting
  • Experience with Weblogic/JBoss

Desired:

  • Experience working in a product development organization
  • Hands-on experience with testing/test management  tools like RFT, SOAPUI, JMETER, TestLink, Bugzilla
  • Hands on experience in deploying the product on to the target platform
  • Development of automation scripts
  • Experience with telecom application testing (mobile/NMS/billing)
  • Strong technical aptitude and process improvement methodologies and produce accurate test results with demonstrated product quality
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Education and work experience:

  • BE / BTech / ME / MCA with at least 65% aggregate in all qualifications
  • 4+ yrs of experience in test case development and test execution / testing complex software applications/products
