Mformation is led by a team of telecommunications and software executives with deep understanding of the challenges faced by mobile operators and service providers as they roll out increasingly sophisticated wireless devices and services.

Broad expertise from diverse backgrounds makes the Mformation team unique in their ability to deliver software that addresses the complexities of the rapidly evolving mobile environment.

Todd DeLaughter, President and CEO

Todd DeLaughter is the President and CEO of Mformation Technologies. Prior to Mformation, he served as President and CEO of Opalis Software Inc., a market-leading independent IT Process Automation software vendor. At Opalis, DeLaughter was responsible for the strategy and operational execution that drove rapid growth for the company in the cloud computing market, which resulted in the successful acquisition of Opalis by Microsoft.

Prior to Opalis, DeLaughter served as the Vice President and General Manager of the OpenView Business Unit at HP where he held full P&L responsibility including strategy and business planning, acquisitions, marketing and research and development. During his four-year tenure, OpenView grew at twice the market rate, doubling in size to over $1Bn. Before joining HP via acquisition, he spent 18 years with Compaq leading and working in software groups. In his last role with Compaq, he spent four years living in France where he led Compaq's telecom OSS business, which became a product group under OpenView.

DeLaughter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston.

Dr. Rakesh Kushwaha, CTO and Founder

Dr. Rakesh Kushwaha founded Mformation Technologies in 1999, and has served as their chief technology officer since that time. He has devoted most of the last decade exclusively to device management issues and the advancement of management technologies for mobile and wireless environments. As a device management pioneer, he has evolved with the industry as it has grown. He believes that the more than 700 billion objects that most analysts predict will be connected wirelessly by 2017 will all need to be managed.

Prior to founding Mformation, Dr. Kushwaha spent more than ten years building leading-edge operational support systems (OSS) to manage wireless, IP and telecommunication services. He designed and implemented service management systems for telecommunications companies including AT&T, Concert Communications and Millicom Cellular International. He was Vice President of Engineering at Savera Systems, where he managed the design, development and deployment of highly scaleable, real-time operational support systems. Before Savera, he was a senior member of the technical staff at Bell Laboratories and an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Dr. Kushwaha is the author of numerous patents and technical papers, and regularly speaks at industry forums and events on a wide range of subjects having to do with the challenges and opportunities in emerging wireless and convergent networks. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Master’s of Science degrees from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Delhi University.

Michael J. Mele, CFO

Mike Mele is responsible for all of Mformation’s financial, administrative and IT functions. Prior to joining the company, he served as CFO of CPower, Inc., a venture capital backed provider of clean energy services. He was deeply involved in raising over $30 million in equity and debt capital and in the successful sale of CPower to Constellation Energy (NYSE: CEG).

Before CPower, Mike served as CFO of Archive Systems Inc., a leading provider of on-demand document management services, and ASI Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASIS), an outsourcer of human capital services. Mike was instrumental in leading the IPO of ASI Solutions and its ultimate sale to Aon Corporation (NYSE: Aon). Earlier in his career, Mike held management positions with Mars Inc. and Daimler Benz. Michael became a CPA in New Jersey and holds BA and MBA degrees from Rutgers University.

Charles Crouchman, SVP of Product and Delivery

Charles Crouchman leads Mformation’s Product and Delivery organization, where he has overall responsibility for Mformation’s product development, engineering, QA, deployment and support. Prior to Mformation, Charles served as the Chief Technology Officer for Opalis where he was responsible for driving the product strategy and development direction for the company. Prior to Opalis, he was Senior Vice President of Development at CA Inc. where he was responsible for the Workload Automation product line, which generated nearly $300M in annual revenue. Before CA, Charles was a senior executive at Cybermation Inc. where he managed product development, product management, and business development and played an important role in helping the company grow to become one of the leading vendors in the systems management market.

Charles’ extensive experience also includes key roles at Amdahl, the Bank of Montreal and the Mutual Group. He holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo.

Ed Forker, EVP, Sales and Alliances

Ed Forker is responsible for Mformation’s worldwide sales, services and alliances. He has a rich high-tech and telecommunications sales management background, having run high-performance sales teams selling into carriers, large enterprises and managed-service providers, as well as working with global systems integrators. Prior to joining Mformation, Ed was the SVP of Worldwide Sales and Field Engineering for Opalis, a market-leading independent IT Process Automation software vendor. At Opalis, he built a global sales team and grew revenues 100% year over year, contributing to the successful acquisition of Opalis by Microsoft.

Prior to Opalis, Ed built up and ran worldwide sales for Integrien, a real-time performance analytics company, and ran worldwide sales for Blazent, an IT outsourcing company. Before Blazent, Ed built and ran worldwide sales for Smarts, a company specializing in IT root-cause and impact analysis software, as they grew from $10M to $70M before being acquired by EMC. Ed’s experience includes strategic sales management positions at Metromedia, Lucent Technologies, CIDCO, Bay Networks (formerly Synoptics), Digital Equipemnet Corporation, Citibank Credit Card Services, AT&T and New York Telephone. Ed completed the Wharton School’s executive MBA program at the University of Pennsylvania and received his BA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX.

Rowan Scranage, SVP of Corporate Strategy, Business Development & Marketing

Rowan Scranage is responsible for Mformation’s Global Business Development, Corporate Strategy and Marketing organizations and activities.

Rowan Scranage has more than 18 years of telecommunications sales and management experience. Prior to taking on his current role at Mformation, he served as Mformation’s VP of sales for EMEA and Asia, where he was instrumental in securing Mformation’s first customers and building long-term relationships with market-leading mobile operators around the world, including Bharti Airtel, Orange,T-Mobile Europe, Telefónica and Vodafone Group. Prior to Mformation, he was sales and operations director of the Global Accounts group at SmartTrust, where he led a team of 14 to acquire global contracts with new operator customers and to build long-term business relationships.

Prior to SmartTrust, Rowan was business development director for EMEA at Lucent Technologies, where he was responsible for identifying new opportunities for Lucent’s GSM/UMTS offerings and building business within key global accounts. Before Lucent, Rowan was regional director at Iridium Communications Germany, a provider of mobile satellite services, where he developed sales channels through service providers and cellular network operators, initially in the UK and Ireland, and subsequently in the 22 European countries in which Iridium owned the license. Rowan has served in sales and sales management roles at various companies, including as general manager for Cellhire PLC, a leading international supplier of corporate mobile phone rentals.
