Amit Shah, VP of Product Development
Amit has more than 13 years experience in software development management and wireless technologies. Prior to joining Mformation, he was Vice President of Engineering at MACH USA, a data clearinghouse providing services to wireless phone operators, where he was instrumental in building data clearing facilities for GSM/PCS carriers and developing conversions required for inter-technology roaming. He also represented MACH USA on cellular industry expert committees that defined roaming data exchange standards. Prior to MACH USA, Amit was the Director of Technology at InnovaConsult, where he designed client/server platforms for wireless carrier field service and billing platforms.
Before InnovaConsult, he held development management positions at Transvik Limited, UK, building equities trading platforms, and Turnkey Solutions, building custom software systems for clients such as Millicom, Chase Manhattan Bank and the New York YMCA. He has also served as an adjunct lecturer at City University of New York. Amit has an MS in Computer and Information Science from City University of New York and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Bombay.
