Matthew Bancroft, Chief Marketing Officer
Matthew has more than fifteen years of marketing, strategic business development and telecommunications experience. Prior to taking on his current role at Mformation, Matthew served as Vice President of Business Development for Flarion Technologies, a leading-edge, venture-backed, wide-area mobile broadband technology company that was acquired by Qualcomm in 2005. At Flarion, he built the global business development team from the ground up and was responsible for worldwide business development, negotiated strategic investments and licensing agreements with key telecoms, wireless infrastructure and mobile device providers, and played an integral role in the company’s marketing strategies, rapid growth and subsequent acquisition by Qualcomm.
Prior to Flarion, Matthew was Vice President at Evercore Partners, a leading New York merchant banking firm, where he identified, evaluated, and executed principal investments in a broad variety of industries and situations. Prior to Evercore, he served as a consultant at Bain and Company in both London, UK and Boston, MA, providing strategic advice to leading European and North American companies.
Matthew holds an MBA from Harvard University, Boston MA, and received his Masters of Engineering and BA in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University, UK.
